Madeley Rodriguez was born in Havana, Cuba, raised in Northern California and currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. All her pieces are one-off and hand sculpted using a variety of clay bodies. Each piece is driven by her hands and material, never started with an idea in mind. This process relies on intuition, allowing the shapes to reveal themselves and ultimately sparking a spontaneous creative direction.
